Have you hiked at Howard Colman Hall Creek Preserve? The lovely landscape is surrounded by a glowing prairie, comforting trees and a crystal clear creek. Songbirds flit in and out of the prairie while birds of prey soar in the skies. As you trek along the trails, you’ll see beautiful, hardy mushrooms (like the turkey tail you see in the photograph) and evidence of deer, rabbits and coyotes. If you’re lucky, you’ll see some of the animals as you hike.
Winter is the perfect time to ruminate in our beautiful region. If you’d like a little peek at what Howard Colman has to offer in the winter, here’s a quick video. After you watch, we hope to see you on the trails!
