Register for the “Explore 20 in 2020” Challenge
“Explore 20 in 2020” is a fun challenge coordinated by 815 Outside. We invite you to visit 20 local parks, preserves, trails and outdoor attractions and document your visits on social media to qualify for great prizes! You don’t even need to use social media to participate.
How To Participate
1. Register for the challenge on the form at the end of this page 2. Between April 12, 2020, and September 7, 2020, visit 20 different locations on the 815 Outside Map. See map at this link 3. Post pictures at the various locations as you attend to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the location you are at along with the hashtags #815outside and #Explore20in2020 and be sure your posts are set to “public” (click here for sample posts) If you are not on social media, you can still participate by sending your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org 4. When you’ve reached 20 locations, email email@example.com to let us know. 5. At the end of the challenge, all entries will be pooled and the 1st-3rd places winners will be selected in a random drawing.
Each person who visits 20 different locations and shares photos from each will be entered to win our drawing. Participants can gain an optional additional entry in the drawing by cleaning up litter (post a picture with your loot and hashtags).
