Nygren Wetlands Walk

March 22 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Some of you may remember we scheduled a hike here in February but had to cancel because of the ice storm. Well, take two! We love this preserve so we’re going to try again!

Park in the lot and meet us at the wildlife overlook at Nygren Wetland Preserve. We’ll have a quick info session and then do an out-and-back hike for 2 to 3 miles.

PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

-Most of the time, dogs are welcome on our hikes, but this preserve does not allow them, leashed or unleased, anywhere on the land. Sorry!

-There are no bathrooms or outhouses on the land, which is why this is a shorter hike.

The address for the public entrance is 3714 W. Rockton Road.

Please bundle up, wear sturdy shoes. Please register for this free hike. We’ll send out an informational email a day one day before the hike!

P.S. We will send out an email with hike information the day before the hike. The website currently does not send an immediate confirmation to your RSVP and we are trying to fix that.
