Meet us in the parking lot off Meridian Road for a three-mile morning hike at Funderburg Forest Preserve. We’ll hike through the forest and alongside the old cornfields. The trails are snowy, icy and muddy so we’ll have to slow our pace and widen our hiking stance. This event is free and open to the public and registration is required. Bundle up, wear sturdy shoes, wool socks and remember to hydrate. There is one outhouse in the parking lot.
