Morning Hike at Bald Hill Prairie (Enormous Cottonwood Tree!)

March 18 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Attention Tree Huggers: Bald Hill Prairie Preserve is home to an ENORMOUS cottonwood tree and we hope you’ll visit it with us as we hike this lovely preserve!

Bald Hill Prairie is a very open preserve and is home to a beautiful prairie and a lovely oak savanna. There is much to behold here, including steep hills, so please come hydrated and wearing your best hiking shoes or boots. We’ll hike three-to-four miles, depending on the group and the weather.

Sorry, but dogs are not allowed at this preserve. There is one outhouse near the parking lot.

This hike is free and fun and open to the public but please register! We hope to take a picture of the group by the tree, too.

P.S. We will send out an email with hike information the day before the hike. The website currently does not send an immediate confirmation to your RSVP and we are trying to fix that.
