Lunchtime Loop at Tinker Park
April 3 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Free
Park along the little road that leads to the “barn.” If all the spots are taken, there is another parking lot just around the curve. After you park, walk behind the barn and meet beneath the enormous oak tree (picutred). There is a willow bench and a couple picnic tables back there. After a quick info-session, we’ll walk past the cottage, hike across the suspension bridge and visit the gardens, Kent Creek and the small dam. We’ll take some pictures with the cottage in the background and check out Kent Creek. Then we’ll head back across the bridge and take a quick loop in the neighborhood. Our hike will be a little more than one mile long. We’ll be on paved paths as well as uneven grass and dirt trails. Some of the sidewalks are uneven in spots, too. Please wear sturdy boots or shoes.
P.S. We will send out an email with hike information the day before the hike. The website currently does not send an immediate confirmation to your RSVP and we are trying to fix that.
