Join Josh Luebke from the Rockford Park District for a hike through Atwood Park. This hike will be roughly 3 miles, with a potential for more! Terrain can be hilly and rocky, so we recommend wearing sturdy shoes or boots. Following the hike, you can head over to the birds of prey exhibit. Every Saturday, you can view the birds get fed and ask questions about them! The exhibit currently contains a Bald Eagle, Turkey Vulture, Red-tailed Hawk, Barred Owl, an Eastern Screech Owl, and two Great Horned Owls.
