This walk, led by Joni Denker of the Rockford Park District, will bring us through the beautiful prairie at Atwood Park and teach us about some of the amazing native pollinators in our region. This hike will be up to three miles of walking on sometimes sloped grassy trails. We may walk through tall-grass prairies, meaning that closed-toed shoes and long pants are advised. More information about this hike, as well as where to park, will be emailed to hike attendees a day or two before the event.
