Geocaching Hike at Anna Page Park
August 16 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 amFree
Join us for a fun Geocaching adventure at Anna Page Park! This is a great hike for kids (or adults!) who can walk the distance, as geocaches are similar to real-life treasure hunts! The hike will be around 2 miles of mixed terrain. We will follow near the road for most of the hike, which includes gentle inclines and declines, but we may need to climb over logs or on uneven surfaces when looking for the geocaches. We will meet at a parking lot within the park. You can get to this spot by searching for Anna Page Park using your phone’s GPS (please note that GPS navigation services do not quite understand where the entrance of the park is, so we recommend using the name of the park in your search rather than the park’s actual address). Once you have entered the park, continue to the right when the road forks and drive until you see a parking lot with a building behind it on your left.
Unfamiliar with geocaching? Check out our page on Geocaching for details. The only special materials you’ll need for this hike is an optional smartphone/GPS device.
