April Fools’ ‘Hike of Pranks’
April 1 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Free
Mother Nature is the ultimate prankster and April Fools’ Day is her favorite holiday. So this year, 815 Outside is celebrating the big day with a gentle “Hike of Pranks.” For three miles, hikers can expect a variety of gentle pranks along the way.
Q: I notice you’ve mentioned the word “gentle” two times already. What do you mean by “gentle?”
A: By gentle, we mean we won’t be implementing anything scary or dangerous into the hike. There won’t be any loud noises or jump scares or things that are frightening. The pranks will be nature-themed and silly and fun and for all ages.
Q: This sounds great. What do I need to do?
A: First, please register for the hike. Then meet us outside the nature center at 9:00 a.m. We’ll have a quick info session before we venture into the wilderness of silliness.
There are two outhouses and indoor bathrooms at Severson Dells. Dogs are not allowed.
